Last night was a really great night in the world of Allison Parris New York!

Not only was it the launch party for our Fall/Winter 2012 Collection at 1OAK last night, but one of our favorite leading ladies was wearing our clothes on Chelsea Lately again! That's right folks, the entire AP staff was knee deep in champagne at one of the greatest night clubs in Manhattan and Arden Myrin was sparkling (both literally and figuatively) in our beaded cuff sweater dress!

While Arden rocked out two TV appearances in one night (she's also on the new series Suburgatory), we rocked out the club with guests from InStyle, Elle, People Style Watch, Real Housewives and more!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our seventh season last night, we couldn't have made it this far without you!

Arden Myrin has been wearing a lot of Allison Parris New York lately and we couldnt be happier! From the premiere of her new movie WRONG at Sundance, to tapings of Chelsea Lately (with Simon Doonan!) and putting our party dress at #1 on her top 10 list of favorite things in Ceci Style, she looks absolutely adorable in all of it!

So 2011 was amazing, no question... but in order to increase the degree of awesome around here in 2012, we've decided to join the band wagon of "New Years Resolution Making" and try to stick to a few of our own!

1. Update blog more: Yeah, we are painfully aware that it has been several months since our last post... Allison is getting a little better about twitter (only a little) if you all want to keep up with the day to day around here (@allisonparris), but we will definitely get some kind of blog schedule going.

2. Stop using disposable coffee cups: ...so we just got a set of old school coffee mugs and a coffee maker for the office! Less waste, more caffeine... pretty excited!

Not too lofty goals, but good ones to be sure... feel free to add to the list :)

For those of you who have been asking how coterie went... it was awesome!

There's nothing quite like spending your days with a crew of great girls hanging out in party dresses and eating gummy bears :) And for those of you who are thinking "Well thats great, but how do I benefit from that??"... YOU benefit because we are now producing the feather dress pictured on the home page of our website for holiday! Start lining up your holiday parties, its going to be great!

 So this Fashion Night Out thing seems to have caught fire, events are happening across the country and our entire staff has split up into teams to try and attend even a fraction of the ones we were supposed to go to. Go CFDA for creating a national craze!

In celebration of this awesome reason for Thursday night champagne drinking (like we ever need a special reason...) we have created the Toile Wrap Skirt which will debut at Purdy Girl Boutique in the Upper West Side of Manhattan (464 Columbus Ave). Stop by, sip champagne and say hello to Allison!

Television starlett Shenae Grimes from 90210 left Beverly Hills this month for a particularly adorable photoshoot in our navy blue tutu for the July 4th spread in NMRKT!

This is just one more shoot to proove the old adage thats been floating around the office here... A tutu is appropriate for any occasion.

At the Daytime Emmy's in Las Vegas this weekend (the city we all know and love for its entrepreneurial ladies of the night), the one being celebrated was the "Hooker with a heart of gold" from All My Children (which received 13 Emmy nominations!), Denise Vasi.

For those of you who were thinking we ignored the bride and only designed for the bridesmaids, fear not...

Thanks to "Style Me Pretty" (the most adorable bridal blog ever!) we have photos of a rustic country wedding with a bit of edge - and the main feature is our silk strapless feather dress!!! It works so well for this monumental occasion that our Director of Sales Terry wore it for her wedding too! (Care to share a photo or two Terry?!)

There’s something about Diane Sawyer that always makes us want to throw on tutus and high-five ourselves… most recently- she’s promoting the “Made in America Agenda” and we couldn’t be happier!

We LOVE doing bridesmaid dresses if for no other reason than we get to be part of the happiest day of someone else's life, but when they send us photos after? Well... we're ecstatic! For anyone who was stalking the red carpet at Tribecca Film Festival last night, you may have noticed a certain lovely lady looking especially striking in our blush party dress. Caitlin Fitzgerald (from Its Complicated, Gossip Girl, etc) is the star of Ed Burns new movie "Newlyweds" and we couldn't be happier to have such a talented and beautiful girl in our clothes.

As much as we've tried to dodge being called a "granola" line, we must admit... we do in fact try to adhere to a good handful of eco standards. Not just in our fab backless sundresses, but also for our party dresses, tutus, and beaded shoulder tanks to name a few…

Many of the fabrics that we use are recycled – the netting of the party dress and tutus as well as all of our woven linings – come from a process where soda bottles are crushed, melted and then spun into fiber. Not to subscribe to the "everything you read on the internet must be true" theory of information, but we checked for a good article for you all and if you're curious, you can read more about it at the source of all knowledge on the internet, Wikipedia.

While many of these fabrics are created for rough and tumble uses due to their durable nature, ours our made with a very delicate hand and resemble a silk mesh in drape and feel!
