The Allison Parris collection is a feminine and sophisticated line that combines luxurious fabrics, contrasting textures and vintage-inspired detail.</p> <p>As a line that draws inspiration from 1940’s design, Allison Parris pieces are built with the high-end classic construction that made the garments of that decade so iconic. The collection utilizes fully boned bodices, starched interfacing, horsehair hems and custom hardware to enhance the feminine figure and ensure correct fit; while finishing every piece with french seams, full linings and decorative trims to make the garments as beautiful inside as they are on the outside. This dedication to proper technique can also be seen in the more ornamental aspects of the garments, including in the hand-applied beading, hand embroidery and meticulously placed feathers that have become the collection&#8217;s signature.</p> <p>Representing the founders&#8217; commitment to eco-responsibility, the line uses sustainable, organic and/or repurposed fabrics without sacrificing style. The line also uses recycled <span class="caps">PET</span> satin, made from recycled soda bottles, to line many of its pieces.</p> <p>Allison trained at New York&#8217;s Fashion Institute of Technology and has worked with designers such as Catherine Malandrino and Cynthia Rowley.
